This 7 inch single was released in Summer 1992 on the independent Caff Corporation record label which was founded by Bob Stanley (of Saint Etienne fame and who was/is a friend of Jarvis).
The record is from a limited edition of only 500 and rarely comes on the market and is very sought after by Pulp fans. It is one of THE Pulp items to own and has been the star of my record collection for the last 20+ years. I bought it direct from CAFF Corporation back in the early 1990’s.
This is NOT the same version of 'My Legendary Girlfriend' that appears on the 'Separations' album. It's a live session version with improvised lyrics. The sleeve also has a great sepia-tone picture of Jarvis on the front.
This record has never been played and is in mint condition. The cover is also perfect and in excellent to mint condition.
This item has been extremely well looked after and kept in a box during the time I have owned it - (I'm only reluctantly selling it now because my kids are nearly old enough to start playing with my record collection and I don't want them to ruin it!)
The record features the CAFF record label and includes a small piece of paper inside with a short type written message about Pulp and the songs. The item will be sent in a 7" plastic sleeve (as supplied to me by Caff) and in a re-enforced cardboard envelope.
