Description
A useful Lot of some of the items that make up the Beatles' famous 'Let It Be' box-set PXS-1, as follows -
1. A genuine 'RED APPLE' original cover, shiny and solid with some moderate creases, soft corner-bend,
some edge-wear - mostly at the bottom - and a short split at the bottom from the opening to about 4cms in.
Well above average for this 1970 cover which often turns up in very poor shape. VG - maybe better because
of the fantastic SHINE on both front and back.
2. A New replica 'outer-tray' for holding the book - a quality copy with the correct grey inside face and exactly
the same shape as the original. NM.
3. A correct white Inner with the text along the bottom : 'PATENT No. 1,125,555 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN.' VG+
4. A New replica APPLE poster - same size as the original and folded off-centre to fit in the set, same as the original.
These were only included in some of the original box-sets so it is just an item to be added to a set for historical
interest - sets without them are just as likely to be authentic. NM.
5. There is a record from the set - with the correct '2U/-2U' matrix numbers, and the larger gap between 'SIDE 1' and
'1. TWO OF US...' in the track-list - BUT IT IS GRIM - scratchy and scuffed all over - i'm not sure i would put it under
my stylus. Really, it is only good for keeping the cover in shape !!! Please don't take it into account if bidding. POOR.
