Here We Go Round The Prickly Pear
An Australian Original press on the Troubadour Custom label catalog # TCM-73064 and made in Australia 1973
Comments:
Super Rare OZ LP released in 1973 .This album was inspired by a T.S. Elliott poem.
One of the members Michael Caulfield had a folk/Psych album called "Caution: Authorities Warn That This Album Is A Health Hazard" also released on Troubadour Custom press in 1973 which is highly collectable. This music wanders from delicate piano folk ballads to more Psyche & Prog tinged tracks with even a bit of Vaudeville thrown in. Strong male & female vocal round out the sound. It was produced by David Woodley-Page who produced Tully's self titled album and also La De Da's Happy prince album.
Condition:
Record: VG+
This record is clean except for some light marks on side two that really do not have an effect on the sound. Maybe one or two pops It predominantly plays great loud and clean with no background noise
Sleeve: VG+
This record cover is mainly clean with some minor shelf wear and small seam split. There was stickily tape covering it but that has been removed and it has left a mark.
Labels: VG+
Very clean
