I doubt whether another copy exists anywhere in the world.
Very rare as a regular UK 1969 Harvest press but in this form totally unique.
This is a one time auction only for a unique UK 1969 Harvest label 2LP test press set by the Panama Ltd Jug Band. It is their self titled 1969 debut album and was issued as a one disc set.
This is a totally unique pre release 2LP test press set from 1969,
It comprises two unique single sided LP's. Each LP is single sided containing all 15 tracks from each side of the official album. It also contains 2 separate white Harvest sleeves.
Disc 1 contains 8 tracks one side 1 and is in excellent condition. The matrix number machine stamped into the run out grooves on this side is SHVL 753 A-1G. The side one label is totally white with a purple stereo stamp on it. Side 2 of this disc is blank with a plain white label and the matrix number LPFB 2 machine stamped into the run out grooves.
Disc 2 contains 7 track and is in near excellent condition with only a couple of very light non sounding surface marks [not scratches] and a little light crackle in some parts when played. The matrix number machine stamped into the run out grooves on this side is SHVL 753 B-1G. The side one label is totally white with a purple stereo stamp on it. Side 2 of this disc is blank with a plain white label and the matrix number LPFB 2 machine stamped into the run out grooves.
Each disc comes in its own white Harvest pressing plant sleeve with the "20th may 1969" pressing date stamped on them and "september supplement" also printed on them. Hand written type on each sleeve contains the group name and the matrix numbers.
