Panchito Riset con Rene Martinez
Riser Hilario Francisco Rincon, known as Panchito Riset (1910-1988) was a Cuban singer and musician, singer of boleros and other tropical genres. With a sharp, voice sonera style tradition, he followed the naive and classic form of the Bolero of the '30s in his interpretations.
He debuted as a singer in the mid-20s with the Emerald Septet and later formed part of Sexteto Cauto, the Septeto Bolero and the legendary Sexteto Habanero. In 1928 he sang in the Caney Sextet and Orchestra Ismael Diaz.
In 1933 he met Don Aspiazú, who joined his orchestra, replacing Machin. In the same year she sang for the first time in New York, with the orchestra Antobal's Cubans, the "Madison Royal". He also starred in the "Cubanacan" Night Club.     '
During his time in New York, he was part of the orchestra of Xavier Cugat and Henry Burrow. In 1934, he appeared in Cuba with the orchestra of Eliseo Grenet. Then he returned to New York where he recorded with the Cuarteto Caney, with the Victoria Group Rafael Hernández and Pedro Flores Quartet.
In 1938 he founded his own orchestra called La Conga with which he made presentations in California and New York.

Looks like an E+
Please NOTE: I am not a record collector nor can I play 78's, so the ratings given are my best guess based on visual information only and using the VJM rating system as a guide. I also do not clean the discs.
"E+. Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets."
