Description
Pantera's I Am the Night (1985) is the band's third studio album, released via Metal Magic Records under catalog number MMR 1985. This release marks the final album featuring lead vocalist Terry Glaze and represents the end of Pantera’s glam metal era before their shift to a heavier sound in the 1990s.
The "deadwax" refers to the etched matrix information in the run-out groove area of vinyl records. For the original 1985 pressing:
Side A matrix: Typically labeled MMR-1985-A 3 F/W Ø, where "F/W" denotes Frankford/Wayner Mastering Labs in New York, the mastering facility. Side B matrix: Usually MMR-1985-B3 L-21931-X.
This record was Autographed to my wife back when she help distribute the label. It was autographed by all the members: Terrence Lee, The Late Vinnie Paul & Diamond Darrell and by Rex Rocker..
The Vinyl and album cover are in excellent condition. The Inner record sleeve does have a little rip on the side of sleeve from the record. It also includes the flyer for the Pantera Fan Club - mint
