    Parliament “Up For the Down Stroke”

Casablanca CAL 2011, 1974. There is no indication as to where this was pressed, but on the back of the sleeve in tiny letters is "Marketed and distributed by Pye Records Ltd." London, 1977.  

White Label Promo, Matrix CAL 2011 A1 MB / CAL 2011 B1 MB

Musicians include George Clinton, Cordell Mosson, Bootsie Collins, Gary Shider, Gary Bronson & Bernie Worrelll.

Vinyl: EX, Some very light surface noise between tracks and three light clicks on side two. Overall the sound is bright and clear, with no scratches, pops or jumps.

Cover: VG, This is not a proper sleeve but consists of thick paper 24" x 12" printed and folded. The back is plain. There is a small damaged area on the front where the price sticker has been removed, and a small owner’s sticker on the back. Light wear to the opening.

Inner sleeve: New anti-static Nagaoka.

Labels: VG+, White with title and sides 1 and 2 written by hand. A small area of very light discolouration. 

This will be sent by 2nd. Class post which includes compensation up to £20.

   Due to disability I can usually only get to a post office once or twice a week.

All records will be posted in mailers with cardboard stiffeners. I always obtain proof of posting but if your item goes missing then I will not be able to refund you until 15 working days from the date of posting, as this is when Royal Mail class an item as lost. If your item hasn't been delivered after this time I will give you full refund upon receipt of details required for the claim form.

A brief introduction. I have been selling unwanted possessions on ebay for some years now. I'm now starting to list part of my record collection which goes back to the early 60s. There will be a variety of genres and rarities such as 1st. pressings of "Up for the Down Stroke", "Let it Be" boxed and "Threads of Life" to be listed in the coming months.

All records will be graded using the Record Collector guidelines (see below). If in doubt I will err on the side of caution. Every record will be play graded after being cleaned on a Clearaudio Smart Matrix record cleaning machine. You will not find expressions such as "Wow" "Best you'll ever see" or "Amazing" in my listings. I am proud of my 100% feedback and hope that will remain the case…customer satisfaction is paramount to me. I offer a 7 day return policy if the item is damaged or not as described.
