Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a 3 MIL poly inner sleeve.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

  • This copy is a one-owner that has never been played.
  • I have listed it as a Test Pressing but it could also be called an "Advance". Here's why. ECM owner, Manfred Eicher, had already approved the white label test pressing and he was in Germany. So, the US pressing plant was already pressing the commercial copies with the original green ECM label by the time these copies were sent to Warner Bros. (ECM distributor) in Burbank for staff review.
  • The single piece die-cut board cover has tight seams and shows no wear. There are 2 small water spots on the back cover.
  • The plain white die-cut inner sleeve has yellowed with age. I have included a soft poly inner sleeve.
  • Seller got this new from WB in 1979. It has been in storage for 37 years.
