Patti Smith 7" Vinyl Single on MER Records 1974
A Side : Hey Joe (Version) 601 Z2701-A (Matrix - 2702 - 1A)
B Side : Piss Factory 601 Z2702-B (Matrix - 2701 - ZION 1A)
Debut single from Patti Smith on her own label (subsequently re-released on Sire Records) in a cardboard sleeve.
Please note that the record is mislabelled i.e." Hey Joe" actually plays on the B side & vice versa with "Piss Factory"
Looks in good condition to me for its age – some light scratches/surface marks on both sides (see photos). The sound quality seems fine to me (there are some "pops/crackles").
I’d probably rate it "Very Good" (to be on the conservative side) based on Record Collector’s grading system (below):
"Very Good: the record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional light scratch"
Please note I am not a record collector, this is just how it appears to me. The record will be posted in a board backed envelope.
