Description
This is a 1965 Stereo copy of Paul Bley Trio - Touching. Released on the Dutch Fontana Netherlands blue stereo label ( catalogue number 888 608 ZY), the record comes in a mono sleeve which has a different number of 688 608 ZL. The record is definitely stereo.
The record has been Degritter cleaned and the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean and very shiny with virtually no marks. The heavyweight record sits flat with very clean labels and spindle holes. We have graded EX.
Playback reveals superb audio, clean & vibrant, with excellent stereo separation. No issues - the vinyl plays beautifully with a low noise floor.
The strong laminate front cardboard sleeve is in overall very good condition, however, the word "STEREO" has been written discreetly in biro in the lower LH front corner. On the rear, the catalogue number has been altered in pen to the stereo version, and stereo written underneath. At some point the sleeve has been pinned up as there are faint drawing pin marks to the top and bottom.
The original poly lined inner sleeve is still present & doing a good job.
An excellent copy to own, play and enjoy at a reasonable price to reflect the sleeve condition.
