Description
The Paul Clayton Bloody Ballads Vinyl LP RLP 12-615 is a first edition folk record released in 1956 by Riverside Records. Produced by Bill Grauer Productions, the 12" vinyl features original inner sleeve and cover, showcasing Clayton's English language lyrics in a 1950s style. With excellent record grading and a good plus sleeve grading, this vintage piece from the 1950s is a valuable addition to any vinyl collection for fans of folk music and collectors of classic records.
Additionally: Record mint with slight hairline scuffs on side 1 and side 2 that does not affect the amazing delivery of wonderful sounding ballads! Original jacket sleeve shows slight shape of record on front top, right, bottom and back top. and bottom. Jacket sleeve has complete seam-split on front top. Jacket sleeve has blue ink circling tracks on liner notes with a black ink stamp stating “approved C.O.” On back. Original inner sleeve features a 50’s waxy-like inner sleeve. Inner sleeve has seam-splits on top left and right with ear marks on top left and bottom right.
1962 Reissue of Originally Released On Riverside 1956 Title "Bloody Ballads" was later titled “Murder Ballads”.
