Description

Mono, orange label, deep groove; Bill Grauer Productions. Paul Consalves, tenor sax; Nat Adderley, cornet on 5 tracks; Wynton Kelly, piano; Sam Jones, bass; Jimmy Cobb, drums. Recorded in New York in 1960. Stunning performance by Gonsalves with tunes with wide range of tempos.

Cover: VG to VG+ Intact. Name of previous owner written in green ink on the front cover and orange ink on the margin of the back cover. Very light aging on the back cover.

Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Possibly played only a very few times with careful handling. Clean appearance with no markings on the vinyl. Several clicks on Track 1, Side A. The balance of the record has only a few isolated, rare, clicks. Most of the tracks have no surface noise and play like new. I have included the (-) in the overall rating to account for the described clicks. Fine overall condition and exellent. Audibly checked.
