Description

This is a UNIQUE collector's item. This is a test pressing for Paul McCartney's 1980 single "Coming Up" (I am the original owner). One one side is the studio version - intended to be the single. This 12" disc was given to selected people at radio stations with the studio version on one side and a live version from a recent Glascow Concert (at the time) on the other side. This was prior to the McCartney II LP being released. Due to recommendations from several prominent radio people the Record Label (Columbia) changed to the "live" version of the song and held up release of the album - inserting a live 45 version inside of it. It went to #1 nationally on Billboard Magazine. I will include the July 5, 1980 Billboard Hot 100 Chart with "Coming Up" at #1. I believe that this disc was only played once - it is in excellent condition -not played since 1980. The disc plays at 33 and 1-3rd rpm on each side.
