Paul McCartney & Wings - Band on the Run - Rare Label
What was initially an Excellent recording of this 1973 release of "Band On The Run" has grown in magnitude with the realization that this copy has a "Capitol Records Black Dome" label on both sides instead of the pictures of Paul, Linda and Denny. Wow - what a find!
To make it even better, the disc is in Excellent condition. I listened to both sides of the record and noted the following faults: Side One Track Three has 2 lite tics near the end of play and Side Two Track Two has Lite tics at the end and into the dead space. Both Sides have "Mastered By Capitol" in the Dead wax.
The original sleeve is almost perfect - spoiled by the one inch seam that broke through on the bottom.
The 27 x 20 inch fold out is in Excellent condition.
The front of the jacket conditions are Very Good with no tears or separations. The front side is the worst with lite ring wear showing white scuffs on a black back ground. Minor scuffs on the edges and corners. The back side is Very Good+
