Description
Paul Pena - S/T : Capitol Records 1972. In demand 1st album from Paul Pena, best known for the documentary Genghis Blues which chronicles his trip to Mongolia to compete in a Tuvan throat singing competition. Paul is also known for penning "Jet Airliner" which the Steve Miller Band later turned into a hit. There's not a dud on this album, great guitar playing, great vocals. His voice almost reminds me of a cross between Bob Seger and Van Morrison.
Condition:
Vinyl - Would get a strong VG+ were it not for one ugly, mainly superficial mark that crosses the last two tracks on side one. On the last track you can hear it as a faint click. I've included the offending track below so you can hear it for yourself
Cover - VG+ (strong)
