Paul Weller ?– Modern Classics - The Greatest Hits SEALED 1st Pressing 1998 Ltd Ed #'rd 4 X 7" Single UK Box

This is the SEALED 1st Pressing of the Limited Edition, Individually Numbered 4 X 7" EP Box Set by Paul Weller titled "Modern Classics - The Greatest Hits". This is probably the nicest example of this set on the planet! It has been sealed in my collection since the day it was released. my store got about 12-15 of these in for stock and I picked the nicest one for my personal collection. This set is #5196 / 10,000.  

Tracks on this release are divided up into different era's with individual titles: 'Yesterday & Tomorrow' features the 3 singles from the Paul Weller LP plus the single Brand New Start which was recorded & released to promote 'Modern Classics'. 'Into The Trees' features the 3 singles from the Wild Wood LP plus 'Hung Up' which came out as a single after the album was released but was added to Wild Wood later CD pressings. 'Down The Road' features the 4 singles from the Stanley Road LP 'From The Soul' features the 4 singles from the Heavy Soul LP. Box Set was released in the UK on Island ?(IBX 8080) Records in 1998.

I was the owner of an independent record store in Seattle for well over 20 years. If you are familiar with Goldmine magazine they did a feature article on my store in the January 15, 1999 issue of the magazine. It was the first in a series of articles on Independent Record Shops around the world. It was quite flattering to be chosen as one of the premier indy record shops. The majority of the items I am offering were unsold store stock at time of closing or pieces I put aside during that time for my personal collection. I am able to offer sealed new Product for a good price because I own the inventory free and clear since it was all bought and paid for 10 or more years ago when I had my store. It kills me to sell some of these rare items, but alas It is getting to that time in life where I think about burdening my children with this massive amount of music when my time comes. All items are new factory sealed retail product unless otherwise stated in condition section. There are no bootlegs or pirates and again, any promo holes, cuts, or stamps will be noted.Bottom line I want you to be happy with product so you come back for more! I didn't keep my store running for nearly 25 years by offering substandard product. .
