Paul Whiteman 12" 78 VDisc 807 Gershwin Memorial





In excellent condition, this V Disc is No. 807 and features Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra.  It advertises that it is a George Gershwin Memorial record.  Side 1 is "The Man I Love" and "Swanee."  Side 2 is "Embraceable You", "Strike Up The Band", and "Someone To Watch Over Me."  As I said, excellent condition with just a few minor scuffs.  Good luck in adding this one to your collection and thanks for checking out my auction...

Record Grading Information

New/Near Mint
New condition, apparently unplayed, showing no signs of wear
Excellent, E+, E-
An Excellent record will show only slight wear. The playing surfaces still maintain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal.
Very Good, VG+, VG-
The record will be somewhat more worn. There may be some slight grayness appearing in the grooves. You can expect more surface noise, scuffs, and light scratches.
Good
A good rating is a misnomer and means not so good. A good rating means that the record has considerable wear and usage, grayness in the grooves, random mars and abrasions from a sleeveless existence. You can expect considerable surface noise in a "good" record.
Fair & Poor
These are the lowest ratings and I only sell Fair or Poor copies of very rare records. These would fill a collection until a nicer copy comes along.
