Condition: I will be using VJM grading for all 78s
Record: Visually: E- to E: there is a 1/2 to 3/4 inch thin notch in the lamination at the beginning of side one. See picture 3 closely. It is not torn through to the picture. Lamination is still in place and solid throughout. If not for the one defect Disc would be visually E+
Audio: E-, The stated defect can be heard at the turntable but is virtually inaudible at the speaker. No skips or locked grooves. The rest of record plays beautifully with some noise. Music is much higher than noise. Music is clear and realistic sounding
Note: Audio grading is done with a pitch perfect Numark Turntable and a Stanton 500 - II Cartridge fitted with a Mono 78 Stylus.
Amp is a Vintage Harman Kardon with high filter set. Speaker: Single Mono Vintage Ampro. I feel this is a very close to authentic set up. I grade with Bass and Treble settings at zero for the most reliable read of actual record quality
