Description
Here's a very rare double-sided 33 rpm LP acetate containing a live, unreleased performance by the trumpeter Peanuts Holland. Holland settled in France after touring the continent with Don Redmond in 1946. According to the notes on the labels, the material on this disc was recorded in the Northern French city of Nancy in 1962. The performance includes seven songs: "Ain’t Misbehavin’," "I’ve Got Rhythm," "Lullabye of Birdland," "Royal Garden Blues," "Back o’ Town Blues," "Black and Blue" and "Christopher Columbus." The disc is in VG+ condition with some surface wear. Playback is excellent throughout, with some hiss. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
