Description

Up for auction is a beautiful STILL SEALED First U.S. Vinyl Edition of Pearl Jam's debut album - the truly ICONIC Ten.  As most collectors know, while the album itself was released internationally on vinyl in 1991 (and in the U.S. on CD and cassette ONLY), the actual first U.S. release on vinyl did not occur until December 1994.  I bought it the week it came out, and even took a photo of the end cap at Media Play where I picked it up (see the last photo).  For over thirty years, it sat in a closet, along with the other Pearl Jam vinyl album I picked up that week (Vitalogy, also available to bid on).  During that time however, the shrinkwrap somehow split several inches along the top of the cover.  Other than that, the cover is immaculate, barring a minor bump in the lower left corner (see photos).  It still carries the $7.99 (amended from $7.94) price sticker from Media Play and could you imagine there was a time when you could pick up this iconic slab of vinyl brand new for under ten bucks, with enough change left over for a McDonald's hamburger or two??  Anyway, you already know the deal with this album.  It's a stone cold classic and this right here is a beautiful Mint sealed OG U.S. first pressing being sold by the original owner.  Be sure to get your bid in as another example this nice might not pop up for a while.  And of course I will pack it with the extreme care it deserves, so bid with confidence.  Thanks for looking!
