Stunning quality and ultra-rare copy of this 4th studio album from Folk-rock virtuosos, Pentangle, featuring Jacqui McShee, John Renbourn & Burt Jansch
Released in 1970 on Transatlantic Records, early pressings came with the purple/white labels, whilst subsequent re-issues carried the "globe" design picture labels.
This is one of the scarce first-pressings and comes in a gatefold sleeve.

Vinyl: NM - Stunning quality and could easily pass for un-played on visual examination. It can't have looked too different on the day it was un-packed and stacked on the record store shelf forty seven years ago!! Vinyl looks un-marked with that new-vinyl lustre and sheen. Play-tested and reproduction is crystal clear. The labels are the first-pressing white Transatlantic design with purple logo & rim-text and black label-text. Labels are immaculate with no discernible spindle-wear.
Sleeve: EX/NM - Incredible condition for its age. It looks as if it was cut only yesterday! Matt finished gatefold card sleeve with 15th Century Albrecht Durer engravings depicted on front & rear. (The Men's Bath on front cover & The Sea Monster on the rear.) Inner gatefold carries lyrics and album credits. Structurally, the sleeve is fantastic. No splits, tears creases or blemishes. Edges remain crisp and all seams securely stuck down. Spine is solid and spine-text perfect.
