Bishop Ann Storey-Pratt is the Pastor of the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center in Springfield, Ohio. Bishop Pratt is an anointed woman of God who was saved in her youth at St. John Pentecostal Church in Harlem, New York under Bishop Lenora Smith. During her teenage years, Bishop Pratt served as a national evangelist for Deliverance Center, Inc. under Apostle Arturo Skinner in Newark, New Jersey, as well as at Pilgrim Cathedral under Bishop Roy Brown for several years. She worked in various prison ministries and ministered in the five boroughs of New York, completed extensive work with youth, and extended her support to her community by serving on various boards within her locality. She is renowned for her “evangelism and deliverance ministry” running tent meetings, revivals, seminars, street meetings and crusades that span four decades. Her reputation as a “dynamic anointed woman of God” spread as her ministry grew. She has traveled extensively, spreading “The Good News” throughout the U.S., Europe, Haiti, Jamaica, Antigua, Barbados, and the Bahamas.

Bishop Pratt has been blessed through her marriage to the late Bishop Cecil A. Pratt. In addition to their dedication and work in the ministry, the Pratt duo shared a deep love and compassion for children and their need for nurturing and learning. Bishop Ann Pratt is the founder and administrator of Precious Gifts Daycare and Learning Center, a state and federally certified, Black owned and operated, daycare and Headstart program in Clark County, Ohio. Founded in 1991, the daycare was the first in Clark County to offer childcare that covered two shifts, in order to accommodate parents that worked first and/or second shift. Precious Gifts was also the first collaboration of daycare and Headstart program in Clark County. The daycare was awarded the Star Rating in the State of Ohio’s Step Up to Quality program, recognition reserved for childcare providers that surpass Ohio’s licensing standards and emphasize early learning and education.

Bishop Pratt received a certificate in education leadership from Yale University and went to found and serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Springfield Academy of Excellence, the first community school in the city of Springfield. Founded in 2000, the Academy was born out of Precious Gifts Daycare and Learning Center. Bishop Pratt realized the need to take children beyond early childhood education into elementary education while holding on to the positive learning environment provided by the daycare. Between the daycare and the school, the campus provided services and meals to over 300 children every day. The Academy received the Ohio Department of Education’s Stellar Award for best practices in child nutrition.

Bishop Pratt is the mother of one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Danita Pratt, and two grandchildren, Kanecia and Chase.

Bishop Pratt is a firm believer that if there is a gift, God will make room for it. She has adopted a theme that she lives and preaches by, “God Can Do Anything!”
