Pere Ubu 1975 Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo 7" Hearthen
Rare opportunity to acquire this historical copy of Pere Ubu's debut 7" single from the record library of Julian Cope. Purchased from the old Penny Lane Records in Liverpool in 1977, the A-side '30 Seconds Over Tokyo' – co-written by future Dead Boy Cheetah Chrome – features the newly-formed band debuting with a favourite song from their old band Rocket From The Tomb. The B-side was a proto-J. Division motorik monster called 'Heart of Darkness'. Both songs have just been played and exhibited no problems, though the more noisy moments of the six-minute-long A-side would probably cover up all but the worst jumps! Many thanks for looking.
