This has to be the rarest of the rare!!!!!!!Pete Dello and Friends 'Into Your Ears' 1971 Nepentha 6437001. What makes this copy so special is the absolutely pristine condition that it's in!!!!!!!! I've tried to find other copies that compare with this one and it's not been possible. Everyone who i spoke to about this album, always comments that this album is so hard to find and they would love to have it in their shop or collection!!!!!!!!Ok then let's talk about the condition of the album. The sleeve and gatefold can be graded as NEAR MINT CONDITION!!!!! Only the very slightest marks, only visible close up stops this from being MINT, it really is that special!!!! The vinyl can also be graded as Near Mint condition, there are no marks or scratches whatsoever!!!!!!!!!I it has been pressed on really nice quality thick vinyl and plays beautifully. Please play it on a decent sound system to appreciate the quality of the music, it's not a £9.99 record but an extremely rare 33 year old album that you'd be lucky to hear on this format again.The labels are really superb!!!!!! There is the tiniest of spindle marks on the side 2 label, but again you really have to look hard to see this, that's the only reason the vinyl is graded as near mint! For those not familiar with Pete Dello, he was the leader of Honeybus and they had the hit which you all know 'Can't let Maggie Go.' in the 60's. This album is so very tranquil and Dello's vocals are so very soothing. Tracks are as follows It's What you've got There's nothing that i can do I'm a Gambler Do i still figure in your life Harry the Earwig Uptight Basil Taking the heart out of love on a time said Sylvie A good song It's the way go away Arise Sir Henry In the gatefold there is even a comment by Kenny Everett, who calls it a "Jolly Good LP..." Also noteworthy is the sleeve design by Roger Dean...They just can't compete with that sort of thing now, it's bold striking and definitely of it's time and deserves more recognition for the artwork.
