Description

This is an original copy of the release "Pete Treats" from Strictly Breaks Records, from 1998. This was a Double LP collection of the original soul, jazz, & funk tracks sampled by Pete Rock. This was the ORIGINAL release that contained the title "Pete Treats", that was only on sale for a short period of time. Shortly after, the same Double LP was re-released in stores under the name "Soul Treats"..I am not sure if Pete Rock himself (at that time) - or his lawyers?-  told Strictly Breaks they could not sell a record under his name?- But, nonetheless,  they changed the title to "Soul Treats". Nevertheless, that makes this release with the title "Pete Treats" a little more rare.  I am selling this at this current LOW price as the record sleeve's original glue (from 1998) isn't in perfect condition, but nonetheless, the vinyl records are in good condition. In general, this is still somewhat rare among 1990's Breaks vinyl... Thanks, all.
