Description
DESCRIPTION: This is a white label test pressing of 'Fireships' by Peter Hammill of Van Der Graaf Generator fame. This album was only ever pressed on vinyl in Greece on Peter Hammill's own Chameleon/Fie! Records label.
The vinyl is in near-mint condition and, despite the sparse nature of the music, plays beautifully as well - no loud pops, annoying tics or skips. The labels are clean with just '91372 A' written in pencil above the spindle hole on the side A label.
The cover has a light hint of ringwear on both the front and back panels and the remanants of a small (4cm x 2.5cm) sticker that has been removed from the front top-right corner, but it is not torn. The seams are clean and the spine text is clear and legible. Comes complete with the lyric insert which is near-mint.
SHIPPING: I do not use eBay's Global Shipping Program; the shipping costs quoted in my listings are the actual cost of shipping from the UK. I do not profit from shipping and I always refund any overpayment for shipping. I do ship internationally, but note that the shipping cost quoted in the listing is for international shipping to the US. For other destinations, please contact me for a shipping quote or, alternatively, just pay the automatic invoice that you will recieve and I will refund any overpayment.
GRADING: Unless a record is sealed, I play-grade everything on a high-end turntable. My grading is strict, so even if you are buying a 'VG+' record from me, the chances are that you are actually buying a very nice keeper copy. Nevertheless, grading is quite subjective; so, if you feel that I haven't graded something properly, please contact me immediately. As a collector of vinyl myself, I know how important customer satisfaction is and I will do everything I can to resolve any issues.
PACKAGING: I do not charge for packaging costs. All records are packed well in sturdy record mailers with additional cardboard for protection. To prevent any seam splits during transit, I always ensure that records are packed outside of their covers.
