Profile: Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, Peter Sikorski [1930-1994] was an actor who played in small roles in movies. Sikorski attended Bedford Road Collegiate Institute and went on to become a nighttime disc jockey at CKOM in Saskatoon. At the time he was there, he renamed himself from Peter Sikorski to Peter Scott. Afterwards, he studied in Southern California in 1955 to practice theatre. He renamed his name to Scott Peters to not get confused with another actor of the same name. Scott Peters went on to register 47 acting credits in play roles in movies such as "Attack of the Puppet People" (1958) and "The FBI Story" (1959) and TV programs from the 1960s to the early 70s.

Released in 1961 when the Cuban Missile Crisis had my middle school class doing the hide-under-the-desk aid raid drills, this 'Space Age' classic "Fallout Shelter" was a very obscure track, until it found its way onto the internets. Now it is a minor popular standard - but the actual record is virtually unique, and almost impossible to acquire.
The promo copy does show up for sale once in a while, but the regular issue [as this one is] has very seldom ever been seen, so think about it - if you are a collector of exotica, bachelor pad, MCM, beatnik jazz, freaky tunes.
