Welcome to my auction
In the weeks ahead I will be auctioning off a collection of vinyl LP records, this collection was NOT a private individual's collection, it is what remains of a long closed record store from the Detroit metropolitan area, the records have been in storage since the early 1980's. I can only approximate the store closed around 1982 looking at the most recent material in the collection. The items to be auctioned will include the; rare and hard to find,early pressings/editions, limited edition colored vinyl, picture discs, and controversial cover art that was changed. Most of these albums are in Excellent to NM condition, if opened they have been handled very little, many are still sealed. I'm not a subject matter expert on vinyl LP's, but will do my best to grade appropriately and provide as much detail as possible for each, please see the specific album details below for more details, conditions and grading.
Note that due to some recent issues with international sales, I only offer domestic shipping and will only ship within the US, I appreciate your interest in the item, but please don't bid if you are outside of the US.
Flat rate shipping charge includes a handling fee to cover packaging materials; these will be shipped in specialized packaging to ensure safe delivery to the new owner
All albums will be shipped using Whiplash LP Mailers with foam and/or cardboard inserts for added protection, open albums will be shipped with the vinyl placed in new poly inner sleeves

Phantom's Divine Comedy - Part 1 - Released on the Capitol Records Label # ST-11313 in 1974. Interesting backstory to this album, and local tie in to the Detroit, MI area. Some of the vocals are similar sounding to Jim Morrison, so a conspiracy theory developed that this album was actually Jim Morrison coming out of hiding after his death. The fact that the credits feature no names, only "X", "Z"..., helped to fuel the mystique. You can read more about the mystery around this album on Discogs and other Internet sources. This is an original sealed 1974 version. The album is sealed in it's original plastic wrapper, the wrapper has a small seam separation (1.25") in the upper RH corner on the back. Jacket / sleeve is NM, like new! The vinyl should be like new since this has not been opened.
