Description
Selling original 1974 Impulse!/ABC US quadraphonic gatefold pressing of Pharoah Sanders’ live set Elevation—captured during a run at The Ash Grove in Los Angeles in September 1973 (with one studio track) and produced by Ed Michel. This pressing carries the QS-encoded quad mix and delivers that classic spiritual-jazz atmosphere: meditative passages, explosive peaks, and deep group interplay.
Play notes: the record plays great throughout. You’ll hear only an occasional click; visually there are surface marks, but they don’t impact playback. The gatefold jacket shows its age: ringwear/edgewear and material torn off at the bottom on both panels, especially at the back—please review the photos.
Condition:
Vinyl: VG+ (play-graded) — plays great with only occasional ticks; surface marks present do not affect play.
Jacket: G (Good) — ring & edge wear, and portions torn/missing at the bottom on both front and back; gatefold still intact. (See photos for all corners/edges and the torn areas.)
