The Pharoahs (Pharaohs) were a USA vocal / doo wop group based in Germany entertaining the troops, boosting morale and reminding them of the musical legacy that awaited them back in the States. Paul Brown from Portland, Oregon; Manchester Brooks from Patterson, New Jersey; Reginald Smith from Detroit, Michigan; John James from Baltimore, Maryland and Frank Jones from Wilmington, North Carolina. These boys aged between twenty-one and twenty-three.
