BRAINFOOD / HYPERACTIVE
Incredibly rare and incredibly funky Hip Hop 12" on the obscure FUNKY TUNE label from Queens New York, 1988 . This is the first release from Phase and Rhythm , and in a much higher league than their Tommy Boy release , mostly due ( I think ) to the work of Paul C , one of the greatest Hip Hop producers ever . Hyperactive samples "Sweet Pea" as well as a handfull of obscure funk 45's , "Brainfood" samples Manzels " Jump Street" ( this is 1988 don't forget !) . Both sides are absolute killers and are guaranteed to please .This is an original pressing ( there is no reissue) bought from Groove Records in 1988 . Don't let this one escape you , it won't be around again.
Condition Sleeve ( Disco Bag) EX : Vinyl VG+ ( surface marks but NO pops or clicks , this is a LOUD pressing and minor noise is no problem)
