Description

 

Original and authentic 1st edition of the famous Metal Box album by Public Image Limited from 1979 - in its rare movie-can format.

I have owned this since 1979 and only played it a handful of times. The tin has the PiL logo stamped on the lid, it's a bit tarnished but no rust (see photo), sticker on the back reads - METAL 1. Inside all three 12" vinyl discs are in excellent condition and include original track list and 4 paper dust sheets. I remember queuing up outside the Virgin Records Store on Kensington High St London 30 years ago, waiting for it to open so I could be one of the first to own a copy of PiLs second album in this limited edition three 12" format.
