Original 1st Edition, 1st press from 1984
Mint Archive copy of the original true Edition of the rarest PiL album.
The vinyl had just the inevitable contact with the original inner sleeve paper.
The original cover (plain white with center hole) is still in the shrink wrap with only a slight banging at the lower right corner, Mint for the rest.
Album conserved in plastic bag and vinyl in additional antistatic thin inner sleeve since the release.
Commercial Zone is an album of studio recordings that was privately released in a plain white cover by guitarist Keith Levene in 1984 before the release of PiL's own album, "This Is What You Want ... This Is What You Get". Levene obtained the master tapes without consent from John Lydon or the rest of PiL, he soon received a cease and desist order from PiL's record label.
A second pressing in black sleeve, retitled "Commercial Zone - Limited Edition." was issued after the release of "This is..."; the order of the tracks on side A was changed, a couple of songs were retitled and the version of "Bad Night" is slightly shorter than on the first pressing of the album.
