CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO NEAR MINT; this has been completely play graded from start to finish at volume and all sides played through wonderfully without jumping or sticking. The clarity of the audio was superb throughout; bright and crisp without any distortion.There was just the occasional insignificant very light static and the odd ultra light dust click here and there, both of which could be found on a brand new record anyway. The bass sounded phenomenal. Absolutely no crackle at all and certainly no pops.
The records all sounded absolutely fantastic and were a real pleasure to listen to.
VINYL (VISUAL): Each record looks great and all have retained their shine. However, each has some strange light superficial marks to some extent + some light scuffing. I wonder if perhaps being housed inside the tin can for over 3 years may have had an affect on this.
Anyway, all marks are superficial and are nothing to be worried about. They certainly did not affect the sound quality in any way as this was superb.
All of the labels are in NEAR MINT condition with just minimal signs of use. No scuffs, tears or writing.
BOX & INSERTS: The metal tin has the usual oxidisation and tarnishing as seems to always be the case with this (I believe that this was a deliberate design) but is is otherwise in great shape with no dents. The interiors of the tin both look really nice. The original 'METAL 1' sticker is undamaged and is still firmly attached to the bottom.
The small track listing/credits insert has signs of handling and creased corners, but looks good.
The four circular paper dividers all have some creasing and handling wear but are not torn or ripped.

GRADING
Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
