Hello

You are bidding on PiL...Metal Box ...Virgin METAL 1...1979 [Vinyl]..WITH FAULTS!!!!!!

3 x 45 rpm 12 ins records..in the metal canister with 4 round inserts/dividers & track listing

Track ID on records is 1A..1B..2C..2D..3E..3F

Now the bad news..

Record 1 [ A&B]

Has a pronounced warp on beginning/edge of record..record then flattens..

1A] Albatross..plays all way through..some surface noise pops & clicks etc

1B] Memories..has scratch/pop..record skips for 1st 20 seconds then plays through

      Swan Lake..plays well all the way through

Record 2 [C&D]

Has a smaller warp on beginning of record..record then flattens out..cant hear the bump

2C] Poptones..pops at beginning..skips @ 2mins 10..rest plays

      Careering..plays through ok

2D] No Birds..some pops at start..rest plays well

      Graveyard..plays well

Record 3 [ E&F]...

Record looks ok

3E] The Suit..some surface noise..plays well..

      Bad Baby..plays well

3F] Socialist / Chant / Radio 4..some surface noise/light scratches Radio 4.. rest plays well

I bought this in 1980..The metal canister has tarnished but they all do this over time.. has slight bits of rust!!.. please see photos for exact condition... rear of canister has METAL 1 sticker

Track listing has blue tack marks on rear [pic 11] where I stuck it on wall for 6 months after purchase??

The records are probably damaged due to them being kept in storage in the canister for many years..the 3x records are on very thin vinyl

Low start reflects the condition..

Selling 2nd batch of vinyl that belonged to myself & my sister?I need the space

All records cleaned Goldring brush then with 50/50 distilled water / isopropyl alcohol

3 x records will be packed for postage in a cardboard Music Max Defenda Record Box Mailer..the tin will be packed separately & then the 2 parcels taped together

By prior arrangement records can be collected from my outside garage next to my housing block in London N10AF. Collected records will not be packed in Defenda Boxes but in a recycled plastic bag.
