Description
Very Rare 1940's Picture Disc Record on the Mercury Records Label. This record was produced by Sav-Way Industries of Detroit Michigan, which made picture records for Vogue and Promotional pressings for Mercury Records. The company ceased production in April of 1947. This record has Cartoon Eddie on both sides of the record, with the caption "Psst- Have You Heard The Latest". On one side of the record is the song You Do from the 20th Century-Fox Picture "Mother Wore Tights" (Gordon Myrow) with Vic Damone and Jerry Gray's Orchestra # 5056 and on the other side # 5055 is also from the same movie Mother Wore Tights---- Kokomo Indiana (Gordon Myrow) with Dick Two Ton Baker and his Music Makers. The record is in overall good condition with no cracks. There are some typical surface scratches from age. I have not tried to play this record. It is a great early Picture Record which is quite hard to find !!! Buyers in USA pay $ 4.00 shipping plus insurance.
