This is an 70's Archiv re-issue

of their famous 1961 3LP

Box Set, which to many is

one of the finest solo cello

recordings in existence.

This may be the finest

solo cello re-issue in existence

as well :) 

Condition:

2 of the 3 are NM in every respect

The covers are NM and both records look

and play NM all the way through (at good volume :) on both sides.  The 3rd record (actually the 1st record in sequence, 198 186 containing Suites No. 1 & No.  2)

also has a NM cover, but the disc looks and sounds closer to VG than NM.   There

is a clicking and popping thing throughout both sides on this disc...it's backround

and soft but this is solo cello, and even though the performance and the recording are way too compelling to stop listening...I listened through both sides all the way...this is solo cello we're talkin' about here....I thought about selling the two NM discs only...but we're

also talkin' about a set here...
