To help you become acquainted with The NAFF FAMILY we present some facts and figures for your information. Reverend and Mrs. ARCHIE P. NAFF were both born and reared in Floyd County, Virginia. They were united in Holy Matrimony in 1926, and began a union that was to take them through more than forty years of work for Christ and His Kingdom. Dad was ordained to the ministry in 1935, and three of his sons since, and all four are full time ministers at the present, doing evangelistic work that has taken them into several states. One great part of that ministry has been through Gos pel music provided by The NAFF FAMILY which consists of thirteen children, (three of which are not pictured on this album) who learned to sing Gospel music at a very early age. I’m sure that Dad and Mother could not have forseen in 1947, when their last child was born, that one day they would be able to enjoy the voices of themselves and nine of their ten children on a record. It has never been the ambition of this family to sing for the praise of men, but only for the Glory of God. It is with this aim in mind that we make this album; hoping that through the songs here recorded that all who love Gospel music may be blessed. Also, feeling that this willgive us a unique opportunity to witness for Christ through song. The NAFF FAMILY hopes that this album will bring many hours of the joy and closeness which we have enjoyed through the years.
