Information
this is the first press of Animals on heavy weight vinyl..I have a 1st and 2nd press of the album and the vinyl weight difference is considerable maybe 30 grams...you can feel the difference when you pick them up

The Records Looks EX
Shiny heavy vinyl with just a few whispy marks..no scratches or other nasties

 The Record Plays Both sides in EX condition
plays through both sides really well..a splendid sounding copy with Audiophile quality Audio
 

The Heavy Matt Cardboard Gate fold Cover is in VG+ conditions
the cover has a small wear area on the front of the cover(see photo) plus a bit of edge wear/marks down the spine and some ring wear on the back...but generally a really strong cover fully intact and readable spine

The labels on both sides are clean and shiny
No Evident Spindle wear

The rounded edge heavy Cardboard 1st press inner sleeve is in EX- condition
some light edge wear other wise in really nice condition

A word about myself

I am a record collector specializing in 1960’s and 70’s. Rock, psychedelia,Folk Rock, Avante garde, and krautRock.

My Hifi consists of A Linn Axis turntable fitted with a Linn Basik plus tone arm  with an Ortofon 520mk 11 cartridge, I listen to my records through a pair of Rogers LS7’s.

I listen to all the records I sell on this setup, and most records I sell are from my own collection, I wouldn’t sell anything that I wouldn’t be happy to own my self or play on my Hifi, I don’t own or sell crackly or knackered records, I am aware the Audiophile quality stylus are very expensive and no one wants to chip a stylus by playing knackered records.

I Use the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

Please note I will use + and – to denote grades in-between the ones mentioned below.

I grade the cover,labels and record separately

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

 Please note: I only use quality record mailers with two cardboard inserts

Postage in the UK is £2.50 for the first single record, in Europe is £4.50 for the first record, Rest of World is £7.00 for first record. Any more LP"s purchased are an extra 1.50 pounds each to anywhere. these postage costs apply apart from in the case where the record needs to be insured for the full value
