Description
This original pressing of "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" by Pink Floyd (really just Gilmour and Mason with minor participation by Wright) is a first run copy with the catalog number of OC 40599.
The cover is graded VG, there is minor edge wear along the top and bottom. The cover looks like it was scratched on the left front side just above the beds. Corners are still sharp, no visible ring wear.
The record was cleaned on a Loricraft Audio Professional Record Cleaner and play graded. One note, when cleaning, there is no rubbing of a cloth over the record. Only the nylon brush used to spread the cleaning fluid and string touch the grooves. You may see residual fingerprints on the record. We do not wipe them off to prevent groove damage.
The record played through nicely. The Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) job really shines. There is some surface noise through play in the form of ticks. There is surface noise on the run in groove at the start of each side and on several of the songs. Our grade for each side of the record is G+.
The lyric inner sleeve is stored in the jacket, the record itself ships in a plain white paper inner and we added an outer sleeve for additional protection.
