Original U.S. 1968 first pressing of A Saucerful of Secrets on Tower Records (orange label, ST-5131). This historic album bridges the Syd Barrett and David Gilmour eras — featuring Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, Corporal Clegg, and Jugband Blues (Barrett’s final composition with the band).
Vinyl is visually VG with light marks and some hairlines; plays through with typical mid-60s surface noise. Sleeve has noticeable ring and edge wear, some scuffing and light creases (see photos). Original plain inner sleeve included.
Matrix numbers (hand-etched): ST-1-5131 / ST-2-5131.

From the private collection of a legendary Detroit crate-digger and one-time DJ, this LP bears the classic hallmarks of a careful archivist’s preservation — light edge taping and catalog etching — authenticating its provenance as part of “a piece of rock history from an epic collection of rare 45’s, filled with dj copies and promos of early northern soul, doo-woo, rockabilly, detroit garage and psyche rock.”
