On offer here is a hard to find original UK stereo pressing of Pink Floyd's A Saucerful of Secrets LP on the blue and black Columbia label. This is in very nice condition and although not quite a final upgrade would be a great addition to anyone's collection.
The cover is in decent condition. There is the odd light laminate crease on the front, and the back has 2 small marks, barely noticeable. The spine is perfectly readable and the edges are fine, so I will grade as Very Good+. The original inner is in Good condition with one small tear at the top.
Visually the record has not been played that much and has the usual light hairlines. At the beginning of Side 2 there is a small scratch right at the beginning. I will grade SIDE 1 as Near Excellent and Side 2 as VG.
The record is perfectly playable and is a good listen as there are so many quiet spots on this album. Side 1 plays well throughout with just very occasional light static. I will grade as Near Excellent. Side 2 clicks for about a minute at the start of the record, and the rest of it plays well with a little static and a couple of clicks. I will grade as Very Good.
Matrix numbers are Side 1 YAX36331 and Side 2 YAX36341.
Although not quite perfect this is still a very respectable example of Pink Floyd's second LP and a good addition to your collection.
