Release Information: First mono issue on a black Columbia label with a blue Columbia trademark logo.

Gilmour is written as "GILMORE" on both the record label and cover.

Front cover: Hipgnosis cover. Laminated flipback cover.?

Back Cover:  On top flipback is written "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups". At bottom flipback is written "6807 TPS Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending SX6258 / SCX6258".

Spine:  “Pink Floyd” written in white on black spine.

Inner Sleeve: Plain white inner sleeve with cut-out centre.

Labels:  Black label with silver text, a blue Columbia Records Trademark at the top and a blue "Columbia" above the center. Underneath the blue "Columbia" it says "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists". The letters "K" and "T" are embossed on the label (side 1) on each side of the spindle hole.? At the bottom of the label are the words “Made in Gt.Britain”. Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and includes text in capital letters “The Gramophone Co. Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved. Unauthorised public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited”.

Front cover: Extremely glossy laminated cover still intact with some small creases around the side edges and limited edgewear on the opening side. Slight rounding to all corners and faint ringwear visible in bright light. No writing/marks.

Excellent minus

Back cover: Laminated foldovers remain glossy with some creasing and chipping. Light ringwear visible on black parts of cover as well as some opening edgewear. No writing/marks.

Inner Sleeve: Some traces of browning and staining. Handwriting in top right hand corner of front. Small tear to centre cutout on back sleeve. Seam split on one side.
