1977 UK 5-track LP with animal picture labels. Presented in a thick spined gatefold sleeve with lyric inner sleeve, SHVL815.

GRADING:

Cover - Excellent

Wide spinned gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition.

A little finger wear on sleeve entrance near bottom.

Clearly readable spine.

A couple of very small creases from top seam and a small one from spine.

Start of seam split of about 1" on the bottom seam.

Very light corner wear around gatefold corners.

Lyric inner sleeve has a 1" split on one side.

A really nice example of a difficult sleeve to find in this condition.

I've tried to show everything on the photographs but if you require any others then please ask.

Record - Excellent

Clean labels with no damage or writing.

On close inspection there are quite a few hairlines on both sides of the vinyl (I would think from storage in the heavy card inner sleeve). They don't seem to have significant effect on sound quality, very light background noise on a few quieter passages. A very nice play copy.

A-2U and B-3U matrix numbers.

Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Record will be sent in a cardboard cruciform record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. The record is also placed in a protective polythene sleeve. The record/inner will be removed from the main sleeve to guard against any seam/spine damage during postage.
