Description

Very rare 1st pressing of Dark Side of the Moon
It has: Early sleeve (very dark blue cover), original inner, no stickers or poster. As far as I can tell, these are the marks on the disc:
SHVL 8C4 A-2  GGA SHVL 8C4 B-2  10
I am not a professional or vinyl enthusiast but I've graded this as carefully as I can:

The sleeve is VG+ (some signs of age and ringwear from storage)
Inner picture sleeve is original and in very good shape with no damage.
The disc is VG+ It's not perfect, but the sound quality is really exceptional - it sounds better than almost any other vinyl I have.

  • There is light track noise at the start of side 1. This vanishes after about 40 seconds. It may vanish completely with a deep clean.
  • The vinyl shows a couple of small scratches, but they are too small to show on the pics
  • One of these scratches causes a light click that goes for about 30 seconds through The Great Gig in the Sky - I should emphasise this is a minor click, not a heavy one
  • There is a skip on Money - there is no vinyl damage here and this is consistent with a well known manufacturing flaw with early copies.
Apart from these minor flaws the record sounds fantastic.

Will be properly packed using a spare inner in a sturdy record mailer. Will be sent recorded and insured - please message if you have any special packaging/ postage requests
