Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon 1983 Reissue w/Poster VG+/VG+.


For auction is a great listeners copy of The Dark Side Of The Moon by the British psychedelic rock legends, Pink Floyd. Their eighth studio record released in March 1973. It is a concept album that revolves around the worse parts of humanity, covering the themes of conflict, greed, death, time and mental stability. The Dark Side Of The Moon is one of the most successful albums of all time, both commercially and critically. It was a global Top-3 album, charting in 11 countries, peaking at #1 in 4 of them including the Billboard 200 in the US. It has appeared on the US chart for an astonishing total of 981 weeks. Considered one of best and most influential rock albums ever, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999, and was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress in 2012. It is often ranked on many best of lists such as in 2020 on Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums of All Time at #55 and on Colin Larkin’s All Time Top 1000 Albums at #9 in 2000. It is the fourth-best-selling album in history with over 45 million copies sold worldwide. In the US, the record went 15x platinum selling 15 million copies alone. Although only two singles were released (“Money” & “Us and Them”) the entire record is considered one of classics which you can listen to from beginning to end. This copy is a 1983 reissue from Specialty Pressing. It includes 1 poster of the band.


Vinyl is play graded VG+. Some barely visible surface marks. Slight storage warp that does not affect playback. Plays with faint background noise at times. Sounds awesome! Please see pics.


Gatefold cover is also in VG+ condition. Minor shelf wear on corners and seams but no splits. Title is fully legible. There is remnants of the title sticker on front. Both sides have light ring wear. A few tiny creases along edges. Small crease inside gatefold along bottom near crease. Please see pics.
