Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon A2/B2 Solid Triangle . EX+ Vinyl & EX+ gatefold sleeve.Record SHVL 804.  I Purchased this album the week it was released IN 1973 , having heard the complete second side played by John Peel on his radio show. The LP is one of the very first pressings of Issue 1 , being listed on the Pinkfloydarchives.com web site as a 1st issue pressing number 17 of 88. It has AG3 stamped on side 1 & RP1 stamped on side 2. Dispatched free with Royal Mail 1st Class signed for mail or by free Hermes if extra insurance is required. Both the sleeve pockets are open as expected. The LP has been stored in my living room for the past 32 years in my oak HIFI cabinet .It has not been played during that time & I have only inspected & played it upon deciding to sell the item. This LP has always been stored upright , with the gatefold package protected by a plastic sleeve. The one top corner of the gatefold sleeve , both inside & out , show a very small angled mark . The outer face of the gatefold also has a very slight & small vertical manufacturing line area. These slight marks have always been on the gatefold & would appear to have been caused during manufacture. They are not wear or use marks. Please see photos 2 & 3. There are some very minor entry scuff marks on the inner edge of the left hand side of the gatefold sleeve , please see photo number 4. The LP has been kept in a quality antistatic inner sleeve. There are no marks on the glossy record surfaces , not even scuffs from removing from the inner sleeve & it sits flat on my turntable. Please see my photos which I hope clearly show the lovely condition of this item. I played the LP recently through by pair of KEF C55 speakers & it sounds fabulous , really sharp & punchy ( no skip on track "MONEY). These original LP'S are supposed to be superior in quality to later pressings.  I have also played it using my Sennheiser Ovation 565 headphones . With these , which are musically , very searching & intensely scrutinising headphones , it was possible to hear intermittent light static type noise during the very quiet passages of the music. There are no loud popping noises. I have included a screenshot from the Pinkfloydarchives.com web site which confirms the details of this LP. For some reason , that I cannot remember , I put the black original liner & the posters & stickers away for safe keeping & I just cannot find them. The LP was infrequently played on my Goldring Lenco GL75 transcription turntable using a Shure M75ED cartridge with elliptical diamond stylus. I will package this very rare item in a standard cardboard record container & then trap that package between two sheets of thin plywood , just to make sure it arrives safely. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OUTSIDE FACES OF THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE ARE A CONSTANT COLOUR , ALSO MY PHOTO NUMBER 4 SHOWS A BURST OF COLOUR WHERE THE RAINBOWS MEET. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT THE FLASH ON MY CAMERA PRODUCED. PHOTO NUMBER 3 SHOWS THE TRUE COLOURS.  THE LP LABEL ON SIDE 1 , WITH BLUE TRIANGLE , IS THE SAME FORMAT AS MY PHOTO OF SIDE 2 , BUT MY CAMERA ANGLE & THE LIGHT SOURCE HAVE NOT MADE THIS CLEAR. THEY ARE COMPLETELY CORRECT.
