DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon. Very Early UK press with A3/B3 matrix, "EMI" label text, stickered gate fold sleeve that looks very slightly blue tinted, original white inner and one poster. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 804 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and a few very light hairlines that prevent better visual grade. Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds not too far off Excellent overall. It sounds pretty clear, clean , vibrant and loud. As usual the intro to "Speak To Me" has a trace of background sound and the odd tick but the intro to"The Great Gig In The Sky" is really clean. Its a very warm sounding pressing. Slightly blue tinted cover is in very tidy shape, much better than average. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, corner wear and light creasing. Poster is EX , unused with light wear only. Original white inner is clean with good shape and a split to bottom edge. Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Clean sounding 1970s UK copy. . PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER FLOYD/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
