I purchased this album in the secondary market advertised as VG+ and following my own appraisal I agree with this and numerically I am scoring both the vinyl and sleeve numerically 78's, very close to the excellent category with an 80 but not quite there (maybe the triangle on the cover has me grading nasty like my geometry teacher). Side A shows some faint lines under bright light however nothing of any significance although there was slightly more surface noise in the really quite passages than on near mint copies I've played. Side B has the same issues as Side A along with a what I am nearly 100% sure is the result of an errant needle drop at the start of 'Brain Damage' which I did hear (and I was listening on a pair of Grado's) however neither side had any pops, ticks or clicks.  No question that the quality of the vinyl is on par with at least a solid C+.  The pictures of the cover are showing every single issue related to the flash of the camera and the coloration (so much so that I had to look at the cover again after I saw the pictures). Primarily the front cover shows light rub wear which isn't always visible in one look in hand (marks appear and disappear when looking at the cover from different angles).  The spine is essentially perfect, less some wear within the bottom left corner which translates into the bottom of the spine.  The other three corners also show light wear as well.  There is light wear within the front and rear top and bottom gatefold and there are no outright separations however within the top rear gatefold (at the pocket where the vinyl goes into the jacket) there is a split which runs 1mm (.05 closed split and .05 open) however it is sort of hidden behind the front corner which shows no issue. Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard but with the vinyl outside of the jacket inside of a Whiplash record mailer.  If you have any other questions please let me know and thank you for looking!
