Description
This is a 1973 Excellent Condition Stereo FIRST PRESSING LP of 'Dark side of the Moon' , Catalogue number EMI Harvest 'SHVL 804', with Wax codes SHVL-804-A2 (A Side), and SHVL-804-B2 (B Side).
This LP is in EXCELLENT condition (Vinyl & Gatefold Cover in EXCELLENT condition) complete with original black inner sleeve (Excellent), 2 posters (MINT) and 2 Postcards (Mint). The Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold cover with the requisite one side opening is in excellent condition.
The sound quality on this FIRST PRESSING is Stunning and truly consistent with DSOTM First Pressings, It is much more rich tonally, and benefits from more definition in the bass. You will not be dissapointed with this very rare collectors LP, valued at £400 in Record Collector 2006 in Mint condition. There are a small number of light/faint cosmetic scratches showing under light (When angled and you look very hard?), but none of them affect playback/sound quality. This is possibly the best condition First Pressing, Dark Side of the Moon, you will play that has not come from a factory sealed package. I am tempted to describe this LP as Near MINT, because between you and I, it really is near mint, but the category does not exist in Rare Record Price Guide.
